CHEER DC wants you to BRING IT ON! The group is now recruiting. This all-volunteer GLBT cheer squad focuses on supporting local gay charitable organizations (such as Whitman-Walker Clinic, SMYAL, etc.), cheering for various GLBT sports teams in the area, and participating in Pride and other community events. Cheer DC was created in January and auditions will start soon. To get a better idea of the vision of Cheer DC, visit its sister organizatons, Cheer NY or Cheer SF.

Gay Games Cologne 2010Team DC is an organization established to encourage and support involvement in team and individual sports with in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LBGT) and broader community in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Team DC strives to promote excellence, integrity, and good sporting conduct in individual and team sports. Team DC also provides a network, which helps and encourages athletic participation by the LBGT community and others in local, regional, national and/or international athletic events or competitions.
