The Capital Splats Racquetball League
The Capital Splats is a group for GLBT & allies racquetball players in the Washington, DC, metro area. The group organizes meet-ups for racquetball players of all skill levels about twice a month and plans to establish official leagues this summer. Members can use the group as a forum to set up matches and occasional social gatherings. We welcome members of all skill levels--we currently have a wide range of both beginners and tournament-level players--so please feel welcome to join! You can also learn about opportunities to play in other local leagues and official US Racquetball Association-sanctioned tournaments in the area.

The Washington Renegades men's rugby team holds practice every Tuesday and Thursday at Stead Field (17th and P Sts., behind J.R.'s) from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. and attract anywhere from 20-45 guys on a given night. With close to 150 swimmers, DCAC ranks as one of the largest USMS teams in the Potomac Valley region, is one of the largest 50 teams in the U.S., and is one of the largest (primarily, but not exclusively) gay and lesbian teams in the world.
