Team DC was established to educate the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) community on the benefits of individual and team sports participation. Team DC works within the broader community to dispel discrimination against LGBTQ people participating in sports; endows and confers scholarships upon LGBTQ student-athletes; provides a network of sporting outlets for the LGBTQ community of the Washington Metropolitan area; and promotes participation in local, regional, national, and international amateur sports competitions. Team DC is a member of the General Assembly of the Federation of Gay Games.

Night OUT at the Wizards March 27th
Join Team DC and our partners the Washington Wizards as they take on the Pistons and as we celebrate our 12th annual Pride Night OUT Thursday March 27th, 2025 at Capital One Arena. Pregame activities start at 5PM at District E in Gallery Place. 7PM tip off. Each ticket includes a $5 donation to Team DC’s Programming fund. Tickets purchased through Team DC do not have any fees attached and offer a significant savings.  We have special access to a fan tunnel experience, and space for 12 children ages 6-12 to escort players on to the court and stay for the national anthem.  Sign up is first come first served.  Please use the email associated with your Ticketmaster account.  Tickets will be transfer to your account no later than 48 hours before game time.Â
Night of Champions Gala April 5th
Join us for our 17th annual Night of Champions April 5th, 2025. We will honor members making a difference in the LGBTQ+ community in the Washington DC metro area. We will award nine scholarships to LGBTQ+ Highschool Athletes. Since 2008 TEam DC has awarded 104 college scholarships to LGBTQ+ Highschool athletes.  Learn more...Â

Team DC along with The Washington Nationals are proud to announce our 20th annual Pride Night OUT at the Nationals. Thursday, June 5th at 5:30. In honor of our 20th Year with NATs they have commissioned an exclusive vintage style jersey for tickets purchased through Team DC or Nats Pride Night Link.
