Light in the Water D.C. Premiere!

LIGHT IN THE WATER shares the empowering story of West Hollywood Aquatics, from their founding in 1982 for the first ever Gay Games in San Francisco, through the AIDS crisis, and up to the present day. A television version of the film premiered on Logo in June and has now screened in over 10 film festivals around the world, including Paris, Glasgow, Kansas and Palm Springs, where last month it was voted “Best of Fest” by audiences.

Please help us spread the word about this event! We need your support! The screening will only take place if we get people to reserve 85 tickets. You will only be charged for the ticket if we’re successful in getting the minimum (or more) reservations.

The screening is planned for Thursday, April 11th at 730pm at AMC Georgetown 14, 3111 K St NW Washington, DC.

It will be followed by a Q&A with the Director Lis Bartlett, as well as original members of DC Aquatics.
