DC Lambda Squares is a lesbian and gay-inclusive square dance club serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The club provides opportunities for members, visitors, and guests to dance in non-traditional roles and a comfortable environment for socializing around square dancing activities. The club fosters relationships with other square dancing clubs and organizations and with social, educational, and charitable organizations within the LGBT communities.
Same-sex country western dancing is a long-standing tradition in the DC area – and the DC Rawhides are committed to ensuring that tradition lives on. Their goal is to promote country western dancing among the LGBT community by teaching and holding dances.
